RKLEEN LI LLC TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms and Conditions is provided as a guide of what is expected of our clients. Payment for cleaning services is due in full at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
A valid credit card/debit card is recommended be on file to schedule recurrent services. We currently utilize PayPal to secure and process your credit card information. If you will be paying by check or cash on a regular basis, and no one is going to be home on the day of your scheduled cleaning service, payment must be left on the counter.
If we arrive to clean your home for the first time, and there is no payment, or no one is home and we can’t have access, we will contact you immediately, if we are unable to obtain payment we, will not clean your home and charge you a $100 cancellation fee. We understand that emergencies happen, however it is your responsibility to call within 48 hours. If you are a recurrent customer and payment is owed for the last cleaning, we will attempt to collect payment next cleaning or charge a credit card on file. If no payment is given, we will not clean your home, and charge you a $100 cancellation fee.
First Time Clients- are required to make of deposit of $99 dollars to secure their appointment. If for any reason you do not feel comfortable using your credit/debit card. We can arrange to pick up deposit in person or the terms must be signed and emailed back to firstname.lastname@example.org Please be aware that the deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is not cancelled within 48 hours. This deposit is fully refundable if appointment is cancelled/rescheduled within the 48 hours, 2 days prior to your appointment date. We do not accept checks on first time cleanings, unless there is enough time for check to clear.
RKLEEN LI gladly accepts payment in the following forms: Cash, Personal Check, and Credit Cards. Please make checks out to RKLEEN LI. Should a check be returned, a $35.00 Returned Check Fee will be added to your account. RKLEEN LI does not accept postdated checks. We do collect NY State Tax 8.625% and a credit/debit card convenience fee of 4%.
Recurrent Clients– If paying by check or cash on a regular basis, please leave all payments for services on the kitchen counter before you cleaning service arrives. We pride ourselves in giving superior service to our clients. We go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied with your cleaning service. If you are dissatisfied with your cleaning service for any reason, please contact us within 48 hours of your cleaning and we will return to re-clean the area/areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you.
In the event a payment arrangement was made, and an invoice was sent, RKLEEN LI may charge a late fee for any amounts which are not paid within a week. The late fee will be 10% of the subtotal. Customers shall also be responsible for all costs of collection (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) to collect overdue amounts.
Skipped Cleanings & Cancellations
As a general cleaning client, a part of what you pay for is a consistent spot on our schedule. Having a consistent spot insures that you receive a discounted rate. Any gaps in regular service WILL increase your rate. A cancellation fee will also apply if you do not cancel at least 48 hours in advance. (See below)
If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Please consider our scheduling/preparations and that we are reserving a time slot on our schedule for your cleaning. A fee of $100 will be applied to all accounts that are not canceled/rescheduled at least 48 hours before your scheduled cleaning day.
a). We do not climb higher than a 2-step ladder unless otherwise discussed.
b). We cannot move furniture over 15 lbs. but will try to reach a visible place with an extension duster/mop or vacuum.
c). If an area in the home is considered or has the potential to be considered a bio-hazard, that area will not be cleaned (emptying/cleaning cat litter boxes, human/animal excrement, etc.). If we do clean any animal excrement a fee of $ 50 will apply per area.
d). We cannot clean with out power or water
It is to the client’s advantage to have the home picked up as much as possible allowing us to be able to get to all areas so that we can optimize your cleaning. At RKLEEN, we provide light straightening of the areas that we clean. If such areas/surfaces are cluttered at the time of cleaning, our team will clean around those areas and you will be notified. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed in the event that personal property was damaged, we will try to replace item, fix item or give you money back. The customer accepts and understands that breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from the service date.
Quality of Cleanings
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the cleaning service. You will have 24 hours to call (631) 998-9284 and we will return to clean area(s). In the event you do not want us to return. We cannot issue you a refund. We work very hard to clean your home and we make sure it meets your satisfaction. However, we cannot provide you with quality service if you do not allow us. Therefore, if you are not satisfied, with the service the best thing to do is to inform us, and we will be happy to meet your satisfaction. If you wait after 24 hours to call, we will attempt to reclean however, a service fee of $100 will apply in certain circumstances. An appointment must be scheduled for all reclean services.
We are insured and bonded. Please inform us of products you do not want us to use or if you are allergic to certain cleaning chemicals. We bring all necessary products to clean your home, at time we will use some of your products as well. All of our vacuums and mops are sanitized before used in your home. As an option you can purchase a brand-new mop head and vacuum head from us to keep in your home for future use. We will gladly use any products you like; however, we cannot guarantee the way your product cleans. Therefore, you release RKleen LI from any damages caused by any product you want us to use on any of your property-furniture, floor, appliances
Entry to Homes
RKLEEN LI has three different options to choose from so that your cleaners have entry into homes.
1). Client may opt to not give a key to the company and be home on their day of cleaning. Because we cannot give an exact time, the client must be home during their specific time frame to let the cleaners in/out of the home. If no one is home when the cleaners arrive, a cancellation fee will be charged. (See fee above)
2). Client may provide the company with a key. In the event of termination of the cleaning agreement, keys will be returned to the client within 48 hours of the final cleaning. For your protection, keys will not be linked to any information pertaining to the client. Keys are kept in a secured area and are crossed referenced in case of loss.
3). If a client chooses to leave their door unlocked, place the key under the mat, or leave their house key in an unsecured place for the cleaners to gain entry, the client releases RKLLEN LI of all liability that arises from damage made before cleaning crew arrives at the premises. The client understands that they will be responsible for any damages that are caused before their scheduled cleaning.
It is not necessary for the client to disarm their alarm system for their scheduled date of cleaning. If you would like, you may contact your alarm company and have a house cleaner code issued.
RKLEEN LI reserves the right to adjust client rates at any time. Our set prices are based on the type of house you have, and the services performed. Each home is different and has an allotted time for standard service-please review list of standard services given to you. We pride ourselves on the Quality of work we provide, your satisfaction is important to us. Therefore, we ask that you as a client respect our pricing, this includes analyzing pricing, calculating pay by the hour team of workers, or comparing what you used to pay in the past for cleaning services.
Repeat Clients-If your home will take longer to clean than the allotted time given, we will notify you. Extra time is charged at an hourly rate of $25-150 an hour and must be paid before cleaning. We work hard to make sure your house cleaning is done to your satisfaction. Additional Services- If a client chooses to have additional services done like laundry or organizing please be aware that we may not be able to do those services unless we are notified in advanced. We will gladly try to accommodate you if we have the time to do additional services.
When entering into an agreement for services with RKleen LI, you agree not to solicit for hire any staff member introduced to you by RKLeen LI for any home-related services. If you are found to have solicited one of our staff members, please be advised that our referral/ training fee is $2,500 payable to RKleen LI immediately upon employing our staff for any services to your home/ business. Your maid (s) will also be immediately terminated.
Occasionally we like to take before and after pictures of your home. Interior pictures will be for our reference only and will not be publicized without your consent. Interior images will be focused on the room and or damage we may find and will not be focused on personal property, unless it is your personal property that was damaged and is required by our insurance to process a claim. If we wish to use pictures of the interior of your home, we will contact you directly before doing so. Exterior/Interior pictures of your home we would like to use for possible advertisement on such places like our website, Facebook, Instagram and so forth. If we decide to use any exterior/interior images of your home, we may contact you as a courtesy but is not required. At no point will any image include images of any person living in the home. We do respect your right to privacy, and we follow strict guidelines.
